there's an awkward silence for about a minute until Carly speaks, "How do you know you're bisexual, i mean, you're with a girl." she says.

"I've always known i liked boys, ever since i could remember I'd get crushes on lots of boys, i think boys are hot and stuff but i was always too nervous to approach any, so naturally i hung out with my girlfriends. Then one day i met Charolette and the rest is history, it wasn't until soon after we started dating that i found out she's really biphobic."

i can't imagine being in a situation like this, i mean being stuck between a rock and a hard place, you don't wanna get dumped but you don't want the person who you love not to love you for who you are weather they know it or not.

"Wow...it sounds like you're in some deep shit." says Carly

"Carly!! that's really insensitive!!" i blurt as i punch her shoulder

"It's alright guys, i know i am, but how can i tell her without her flying off the handle?" she asks distressfully.

"It's simple, don't." Carly says.

"What?" i ask her astounded

"I don't see why you should tell her, i mean you love her and you're attracted to her so why does the label matter?"

"It matters because i want her to love me for who i am. i mean she's not afraid to tell people she's a lesbian so why should i be afraid to tell her I'm bisexual?"

"Well you know she's biphobic, and you love her-"

"Exactly! I love her, i wanna be honest with her, but how can i be honest with someone who hates my "kind"?"

"Well like i said, the label doesn't matter just so long as you're in love with her." says Carly.

"I guess you're right...jeez it takes her forever to get out of the bathroom." says Roserie with a giggle.

Soon after Charolette gets out of the bathroom, Janice puts on a Cd which Roserie and Charolette are eager to dance along to. They're really good dancers, me and Carly can't keep up. When I ask how she and Roserie learned to dance so well Roserie says they were part of a dance team at Roserie's old school.

The next day we eat a breakfast of peanut buttered toast, flat scrambled eggs, and half burnt bacon, Roserie quietly nibbles at her toast while Charolette talks about the bisexual characters in The Real World, which begs me to ask the question, "Would you date a bisexual?" i ask her. she looks dumbfounded that i asked such a thing considering her extreme distaste for the bi characters on TV.

"No. Here's why, because they're disease ridden cheaters who should make up their damn mind." she says.

Roserie giggles at that statement, i'm not sure at which part, the part that they're disease ridden cheaters or that they should make up their damn mind, i personally think both thoughts are so funny i forgot to laugh. Charolette gives her an irritated glare.

"Have you ever actually dated a girl who turned out to be bisexual?" Carly asks.

"No but i have tons of gay friends who have, all of them cheaters."

"Maybe they were too young to know any better." i said, "Not all young bisexuals are but maybe those ones were."

"Look, the fact of the matter is that i will never date a bisexual, that's all there is too it. Besides I'm already in a relationship, why does it matter to you anyway?"

Roserie just quietly sinks down in her chair and blushes, she can plainly see that we're trying to defend her. I'll give it another shot.

"Look Charolette, not all bisexuals are polygamous, there's a distinct difference between bisexuality and polygamy, anyone can be polygamous regardless of their sexual orientation, it means to be in several different relationships with people simultaneously, and being bisexual means just being attracted to both sexes and they don't have to act on every attraction they have weather they're with someone or not, do you get it now?"

"Yeah, yeah, are you done with your lecture?" Asks Charolette rudly

"Yes." i announce proudly. She didn't sound like she was listening to a single word i was saying, Roserie really should at least try to defend herself, on the other hand i know the consequences of her doing that. She must feel like she's under a knife.

With that Roserie jolts up so fast she almost knocked the table over and rushes out the door and Charolette tries to keep up with her, we rush out too to watch the spectacle, Roserie clenched her fists and tears ran down her face and it smeared her eye liner and shadow.

"What, what did I say?" Asks a confused Charolette

"I'm Bi!" Blurts Roserie distressed and angry.

Charolette stares at her, looking stunned and confused

"Janice and Carly were trying to defend me before, please i hope you can accept me for who i-"

"What does this mean?" asks Charolette dumbstruck, "Does this mean you want an open relationship? Or a threesome?"

"What? NO!! Oh my God NO!!" She shouts "I just wanted to be honest with you, I don't lie."

"If you don't lie than why didn't you tell me this sooner?" she asks.

"What the hell kind of question is that? You're the biggest biphobe in Pittsburgh and I only found out as soon as we started dating, even then i really didn't think to tell you back then because i thought it wasn't a big deal"

"What do you mean it wasn't a big deal?" she asks.

"Like i was attracted to you so a specific label didn't matter, mind you i eventually did find one."

Charolette continues to stare at her in anger and shock.

"OK, so what does this mean? That you've been with guys before?"

"What? No! I know i like guys but i was always to nervous to approach any i liked, so i just hung out with my girlfriends, and then i met you and i fell in love with you and-"

"I don't believe you." says Charolette intently

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"How do you expect me to believe that? Bisexuals can't be trusted." say Charolette with a straight face. Roserie stares at her in disbelief

"Charolette...how can you say that? since when does my sexuality suddenly make me your enemy? We've been dating for three years!!! and you never had a problem with ME until i made this announcement."

"I'm upset that you hadn't told me sooner-"

"BULLSHIT!! You would have left her on the spot the minute she told you and you never would have known how great a person she is" Carly shouts from across the block.

"Roserie...it's over." Charolette says bluntly, keeping a straight face yet again while blushing at Carly's statement

Roserie stares down at her boots, looking back to Charolette she says, "OK... and by the way, just because a woman's a lesbian doesn't make her "clean", i mean just look at you, you never clean down there, at least when we had sex I'd have the nerve to use this thing called a dental dam."

Charolette's cheeks flush even more and she stomps off, like she was the one who just got dumped. Roserie just stands there staring into space, like she's trying to process what just happened, once Charolette is out of sight Roserie bursts into tears.

That's it for now, i hope you all like it, i had a couple different edited versions but my mom got rid of them without realizing and i had one last night but i think my sister got rid of it when she turned off the computer (once again without realizing what she was getting rid of) or maybe that was today... but whatever just enjoy!!
this is the second part of the b-word, i usually have a hard time getting my stories down on paper like this, there's a message i want to get out there in this that i hope is being understood
